• TurboGears 1.5 is now based on CherryPy 3 (TurboGears 1.1 was based on CherryPy 2). See the Upgrade Instructions for details.

Features

• Native TurboGears widgets can now use Genshi templates (widgets in TurboGears 1.1 could only use Kid templates). See Widget Template Engines for details.

Note

Kid templates and SQLObject are still fully supported in TurboGears 1.5, but we suggest newcomers to use the recommended Genshi and SQLAlchemy combination instead.
